This illustration came to my mind soon after witnessing the miracle of Jamie Hewlett's work for 'Monkey: Journey to the West'. And like his previous stint with the Gorillaz, Hewlett has not dissappointed me at all. His characters are cynical and edgy with a kind of manic energy that makes them so attractive and refreshing.
